Insulator of the Month - HAVING A BLAST!
Reprinted from "Crown Jewels of the Wire", January 2004, inside front cover

Mike Randall says this glower is his favorite insulator. It's a CD 162 H.G.Co in the (100) embossing style. The "OA" of the word PETTICOAT on the reverse is embossed over the letters "AT". Mike claims to be a "100% certified color nut". He collects various CD styles, but in bright colors. With exceptionally light color, lots of dome glass, great condition, and a neat embossing error...this piece exemplifies the insulators Mike pursues. Mike says finding a new piece for his collection is "like pulling a tooth on a non-medicated 500 pound Bengal Tiger, but the hunt sure is a blast!"
